What does Multi-Depth Focus mean?
Multi-Depth Focus refers to our ability to target different layers of the skin depending on what concerns we are treating. This makes MDF a completely customized treatment. We start the treatment by targeting the deepest level of the dermis with the purpose of stimulating collagen production. We then adjust the laser to focus on surface level skin concerns, such as wrinkles and acne scarring.
Is there any downtime for this treatment?
Yes, there is a downtime of 2-5 days for the multi-depth focus treatment. The downtime will vary depending on what issues were targeted and individual patient reaction to laser intensities. Patients can expect to appear red and blotchy following treatment and will need to avoid sun exposure.
